Peg Hook Locks for Hardware Stores

Hardware stores hang a lot of small, expensive items on open hooks: tools, drill bits, thermostats, smoke detectors and batteries. A thief can clear a whole hook in one motion. StopLocks stop that without putting the product behind glass.
How hardware stores use StopLocks
- Slide a StopLock onto the pegboard or slatwall hook you already have.
- Leave one or two packages in front of the lock for customers to take.
- Keep the rest of the stock behind the lock. Staff release it with the magnetic key and move more forward.
What to order
- Measure first. Hardware fixtures often mix thin pegboard hooks and thicker slatwall hooks. Use the size and key chart to pick 4.5mm, 6mm or 7mm.
- Starting out: the 6mm starter kit has 100 locks and one key.
- Adding to a display: cases of 25 in each size, plus an R100 key for each staff member who needs one.
The red stop-sign design is visible down the aisle, so customers can see that the hook is locked and ask for help.
