Which Magnetic Key Fits Your StopLocks or Security Hooks?
Magnetic security keys are not interchangeable across every retail locking system. Match the key to the lock or hook model, not just to the product color or the word “magnetic.”
R100: StopLock magnetic security key
The R100 StopLock magnetic key is the key specified for the StopLocks in our current online collection. It also works with security hooks that specifically require a StopLock-style key.
The reusable R100 includes a protective cap and a key ring. Individual cases of StopLocks do not include a key; the 100-lock starter kit includes one. Keep a spare key in a secure location for authorized staff.
B100: flat magnetic hand key
The B100 flat magnetic hand key is intended for compatible HandKey-style locking hooks. Those hooks use a different design from our StopLocks. Confirm the manufacturer and model before ordering a replacement key.
The B100 can attach to a keychain or lanyard and may ship in black or white, depending on stock. A hook is not included with the key.
How to confirm compatibility
- Find the lock or hook model, SKU, or previous order information.
- Read the key requirement on the product listing.
- If the model is unclear, contact us with a clear product photograph and any identifying details before buying.
Do not assume that a flat key and a StopLock key will serve the same system. Keep strong magnets away from credit cards and other magnetic strips.
Business verification and shipping
Security keys are sold to businesses only. We verify each order before shipping and may request a business license, Tax ID, or other business documentation. The shipping address must match the documentation.
