Display Types: Pegboard, Slatwall, Gridwall and Slatgrid

Your display should match one of these four types. Knowing which one you have tells you which hooks fit it, and StopLocks then go on the hooks themselves.

American pegboard

A flat board with a regular grid of round holes. Hooks push into the holes.

Standard slatwall (slotwall)

Panels with horizontal grooves that accept hooks and other merchandising accessories. Our HandKey-style locking hooks are made for slatwall.

Which lock goes with which display

  • StopLocks fit onto compatible hooks on pegboard, slatwall, gridwall and slatgrid. What matters is the hook's rod diameter and the shape of its front end. See the size and key chart.
  • HandKey-style locking hooks replace the whole hook and are made for slatwall. They do not work with pegboard.
